About Lisa Carter

I have always had a keen interest in natural holistic health care, and came to homeopathy after many years of travelling the globe immersing myself in different cultures and medicines. This enabled me to think about health and healing from a less conventional perspective. The spiritual philosophy, powerful, gentle, holistic and scientific nature of homeopathy are what attracted me to this style of medicine.

 

Having suffered psoriasis for many years and trying various conventional and alternative forms of treatment, unsuccessfully, I explored the healing modality of homeopathic medicine. I undertook homeopathic treatment and within a few months my skin cleared up and has not been a problem since. This was enough for me to realise the capability of homeopathic medicine and to enroll in and complete an Advanced Diploma course at the Sydney College of Homeopathic Medicine. In addition to this I’m a professional member of the Australian Homeopathic Association and the Australian Register of Homeopaths.

 

As a keen member of the community I have used my expertise and knowledge to deliver information sessions on key healthcare issues. I have the skills and empathy to engage with clients from all age groups and walks of life. Openness and understanding are essential components of a homeopathic consultation, in order to find the best remedy for the client. Along side this, a scientific understanding of the body and diseased states is essential. Due to the high science content of the Advanced Diploma course and my continuing education I am more than competent here.

 

After years of running a successful practice, I am an experienced and compassionate health care practitioner. My knowledge of the body and its natural healing abilities, combined with my understanding of the human psyche, enable me to successfully treat the individual in a truly holistic manner.
